Accuracy
At the ALTA’s heart is a new, highly sensitive pressure sensor and microprocessor capable of measuring incredibly small barometric pressure changes. Changes that translate into an altitude variation display of three feet or one meter.
Functionality
The ALTA’s primary functions show up in three easily accessed windows. The first is a full-featured wristwatch. The second window displays cumulative altitude, number of ski runs and rate of ascent or decent. The third shows current altitude along with a 34-lap chronograph.
